Easter, Biodome and Park...oh my

Just to warn everyone...this may be a long blog with lots of pictures...enjoy!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter full of candy and yummy, yummy food. I know we did!

We woke up Sunday morning (actually got to sleep in until 7:30, how exciting!) and Jack immediately started looking for eggs around the living room. The Easter Bunny left them out in the open for him to find...which was very nice of him. Jack is pretty smart though and started shaking the eggs to see if something was in them and as soon as he heard a noise he brought it to me and said "open" just to get the candy. He's got his mommy's sweet tooth. He put most of the eggs in his basket by himself, with some encouragement to put them in their instead of trying to open them and eat them.
The Easter Bunny also brought him some playdoh and a basketball hoop, which he was very excited about. Lately he's been all about playing basketball, and it seems the Easter Bunny heard him loud and clear. Hopefully he doesn't get mommy or daddy's skills when it comes to playing.... After we played basketball for a little while, we headed up to Grammy's house to get ready for Easter dinner. Jack was of course his terrible two self and gave everyone a run for their money while we were trying to get dinner ready, but as soon as he took a nap and ate, he was better. He also got a chance to finally meet baby Hunter....which he was very excited about. He may be a rough kid, but he is so good with babies. He kept giving Hunter kisses and playing with him...he can be a good kid when he wants to be.

So after a long day we headed home to rest because we knew the rest of the week would be crazy. We've started packing up a lot of our stuff and crossing our fingers that nothing falls through with selling the house. We've also got word back from Tom Maggy (the guy who is building our new house) and he came back with an awesome price, so we're in the process of getting the new house up and going within the next few weeks. We probably won't be moved in until August, but we've got a lot to take care of before that.

I really wanted to take a break from all the packing, so we decided to head up to the Biodome in Montreal for a change of pace. We were going to go to Lake George to go to the indoor water park, but of course they were all booked up. Not a big deal, it would have cost a lot more to do that anyway.

Jack woke up pretty cranky today, so I had a funny feeling it was going to be a rough day. He enjoyed most of the animals at the Biodome, but he seemed to enjoy chasing other children, climbing up stairs and running away from Mommy more. *sigh* I love my child.

After the Biodome we decided to take Jack to the park, seeing as it was so nice out and he was still full of energy...even with a 45 minute nap. I used the opportunity to brush up on my photography. I've been slacking a little with taking pictures and I really need to get back into it. I was pretty proud of some of my pictures. All of them have no editing done to them, I'll do that later. Oh, and of course Jack had a great time playing.

He looks like such a big boy...=(
on the swings...This one is my favorite...Heading to the slide...Shoe tying break...Going down the slide all by himself!Walking up the stairs...
Playing with Mommy...Walking to daddy getting ready to go home...
As much as I hate the fact that my child has now hit the "terrible two" stage, I seem to love him more and more everyday. However, I am more willing to give him to anyone who wants to babysit. Just let me know =)

Enjoy the warm weather!
